Terms of Service

Last updated: September 14, 2026

Who we are

DocChase (“the Service”) is operated by Lumia, a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at xorjf1027@gmail.com.

What the Service is

DocChase is a web-based, login-free document collection portal for bookkeeping and accounting firms. It is a digital service delivered online: after purchase you receive access by email, and there is nothing physical to ship. Access is granted to the firm that purchases it and may be used with an unlimited number of that firm’s clients under the plan you buy.

DocChase is currently in early access. Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation to buy. Where we offer a paid early-access plan, its price, what it includes, and its delivery date are stated on the checkout page before you pay.

Payments and billing

Orders are processed by our online reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com. Paddle handles checkout, payment, invoicing, taxes, and customer service for all orders. Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms apply to every purchase. Prices are shown in USD and may exclude sales tax or VAT, which Paddle calculates at checkout based on your location. Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds

Every paid plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. See our Refund Policy for how to request one.

Your account and acceptable use

You are responsible for the request links you send and for keeping them private. You may not use the Service to collect or store content that is unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights, or contains malware, and you may not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service. We may suspend an account that violates these terms after giving notice by email where reasonably possible.

Your data

Documents your clients upload belong to you and your clients. We process them only to provide the Service and delete them when you ask or when your plan ends. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
